The workhorse of transparent pool architecture — flat, optically perfect cast acrylic panels engineered to exact thickness for walls, windows and infinity edges.
Request a ConsultationStraight acrylic panels are the most widely used panel type in transparent pool construction — a single flat sheet of cast acrylic forming a pool wall, a viewing window or a vanishing edge. Their simple geometry allows the largest spans and the most economical engineering of any panel type.
PRUVA specifies, fabricates and installs straight panels to exact project requirements: thickness is calculated through in-house FEA for the water depth and span, edges are machined for the chosen rebate detail, and every panel is installed watertight and polished to optical clarity.

Flat geometry allows the longest single-panel walls and windows with the most efficient thickness.
Straight panels are the most economical route to a transparent pool wall or window.
No thermoforming step means shorter fabrication and installation programmes.
Multiple flat panels bond chemically into one monolithic wall with invisible joints.
We translate your concept into precise structural drawings, sizing every panel for water depth, span and safety.
Each acrylic element undergoes Finite Element Analysis to verify stress, deflection and long-term performance.
Panels are cast, thermoformed and chemically bonded into seamless, optically clear, water-tight units.
On-site integration, sealing and final underwater/dry polishing deliver a flawless, distortion-free result.
Very large — flat cast acrylic panels can be produced and bonded to cover walls many metres long. The practical limit is set by transport and site access; beyond that, panels are chemically bonded on site into one seamless unit.
Thickness depends on water depth, panel span and safety factor. Our in-house FEA determines the exact figure per project — typically 50mm to 300mm+ for large deep walls.
Yes. Straight panels skip the thermoforming stage, so fabrication is faster and more economical — which is why most transparent pool walls use flat panels unless the design calls for a curve.
